EVENT DESCRIPTION

We are a local sprint triathlon focused on the athlete experience in North Platte, Nebraska. We are in our 23rd year. Our course is mostly flat out and back race with a 500 yard indoor pool swim, 14 mile bike and 5k run. Our early season date and friendly atmosphere are ideal for the seasoned athlete looking to get an early season race as well as the first timer.

Challenge yourself with the sport of triathlon by conquering the swim, bike, and run — or work together with your friends to complete the event as a relay.

Individuals are encouraged to learn to swim, but water walking will be allowed in the kids, individual, and relay divisions. Any style of bike is acceptable, but bike helmet is mandatory.

Relays may consist of a 2- or 3-person team — one swimmer, one bike and one runner. An athlete may complete 2 legs, but must have another member to complete the third.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Paved course throughout. Generally flat with the exception of an overpass that you cross 2x on bike and 2x on run.

PARKING

Parking is available in the lot to the east of the Rec Center.

Mandatory race meeting at 8 a.m. in the Rec Center gym.
Race start at 8:30 a.m.
